I never thought we’d get this far

Community Alpha Part 100

GMGM and welcome to Community Alpha Part 100. Wow I can’t believe that I’d ever say that. But you heard that right it’s the 100th episode of Community Alpha.

What once started as an irregular update email, eventually became the single source of truth for everything Web3 that is happening around Berlin. And damn, the numbers are looking guuuud.

Thanks for your trust & support, we’re going higher.

The best new years resolution

January always feels like a reset.

New goals. New routines. New standards.

But here’s the thing most people overlook:

👉 Your environment shapes your output more than motivation ever will.

That’s why we’re opening 2026 with a special offer at w3.hub:

Start your w3.hub membership until the 10th of January and get your first month free.

We offer more than just a workspace, we’re a community that gives you real feedback, new collaboration opportunities, and support to grow your reach.

If you want to focus better, meet the right people, and ship faster this year, this is your entry point to a successful kick off in the new year.

Innovation straight out of w3.hub

Let me introduce you to Bayang, the founder of SIMD, one of the latest projects to emerge from our w3.hub community. You might have already seen him around or heard about his recent hackathon win.

So… what is SIMD?

SIMD is building a distributed GPU network for running engineering simulations, with a strong focus on cryogenics. The system uses a utility token to reward GPU owners who contribute their computing power to the network.

And for those of you who perk up at the word utility token, yes, it’s live already. Check it on Dexscreener (not financial advice, of course).

Thinking out loud: If you're launching a token straight out of w3.hub… shouldn’t the community get an airdrop? 👀

🔮 What’s next in 2026?! aka w3.hub predictions

An exciting 2025 is coming to an end and even the w3.hub team is finally getting a bit of an event break after what felt like thousands of events.

But one thing is for sure: 2026 won’t be any quieter.

Here’re my predictions:

  1. Everyone will get to experience our courtyard

  2. We’ll bring more education to people outside the Web3 bubble

  3. Berlin Blockchain Festival will be the biggest, coolest, and most impactful activation in w3.hub history

  4. We’ll break our own record and host 100+ events in one year

What are your wishes, expectations or hopes for us? Share your thoughts with us in the w3.community Telegram group.

Let’s keep building – together!

Never miss an event from us:

I'm still crying about this:

I’ve received my Christmas present, will you collect yours?

Just come to w3.hub and w3.santa may bless you.
